What's new, everybody? Or better yet, what's left? It's the next round of these curbside finds (aka. trashure) and my eye is focuses on that red piece. Would you have nabbed it? It's intriguing, at least to me, and definitely not trash-worthy. I'm thinking an upcycled cast iron sign sounds fun. Let's do this! Curbside Stash Collage by Prodigal Pieces | prodigalpieces.com prodigalpieces As you can see in the photo, this is my original loot stash. Below are the projects I've made with them so far: Okay, so when I grabbed that ornate piece to bring home, I figured it to be cast iron and still do. However, in my search to figure out what it came from, I still don't know. CREATIVE CASTING

Then, I find this remnant piece of reclaimed oak that is already perfectly sized for my purposes. Do you see the enamel pot with rolling pins hiding below? They're waiting their turn. mwahahaha. However, after that, I remove it and give it a coat of white spray enamel.
