Not often do I get a chance to just take a minute to reflect with you and just step back and relax. I have been trying to look at my year ahead and figure out my goals and where I want to be this time next year. Time is something I always am saying I never have enough of, so when I had the opportunity to review a product by
JORD, I excitedly jumped at the chance. Why? Let me explain...
*post sponsored by JORD Wood Watches - opinions are all my own (see full disclosure)
I had seen their gorgeous wood watches here and there on various fronts and loved that not only were their products pleasing to the eye, but actually made with life in mind. And...who can resist jewelry made out of wood? This may just make me change my motto, "Tools over jewels". tee hee. Anyone else thinking gift idea?

When I was deciding how to present my review to you, I felt the need to focus on our use of time in our lives. Do we make it count? Or do we let it slip by without a second thought? I think most of us commonly say, "I wish I had more time.", right? Funny thing is, after I decided to focus on that topic, I read JORD's story. Here is a snippet:
The value of a watch is not in being able to tell how much time has passed, but in being aware of the need to make that time count. Moments are bigger than minutes and your watch should tell more than time. - JORD
That matched up with the way my heart was leading. So, in reflection here is where I want to focus my time. I start my day off in worship, my quiet time with the Lord. It is seriously the best way to start the day focused and ready to tackle whatever comes my way. How do you start your day?

When I am at work, do I make the best use of my time? I honestly think I work too much, at least right now because I have to, and want to scale it back a bit as I can. At least I love what I do and that can make my days spent working much more doable.

My family is what I want more time for. Even though I am with my kids 24/7, it can seem like we're existing and not living while homeschooling, working, etc. My extended family is also an integral part of my life that I want to make more time for since we don't know how much time we have left with them.

And when I can, taking a minute to just relax and just be... makes life seem not so hard. We all need a deep breath to refresh and let go.

I can honestly say I adore this watch because it is custom fit (no sagging), is lightweight but sturdy, and suits my design style. Since I can't gift you with more hours in your day, I can give you something just as good.
