A couple of posts ago, I mentioned that I was having a really good January. One of those reasons was because I won the $250 prize package from Modern Masters as their 5000th fan!

I owe a huge thanks to DeDe at Designed Decor because she invited me to come check out her blog.  When I visited I not only liked what I saw, but she was also having a Modern Masters giveaway.  Bingo!!  Thank you, DeDe! Now, what better prize to win when you're a person that LOVES to paint, especially furniture?! Dare I say, that when my package came I was like a kid in a candy store?

When you're given the opportunity to pick out $250 worth of paints, it's quite an overwhelming feeling. Likewise, you can imagine that making the choices was pretty hard.
However, here's what I decided on with glee.

Not only did I win the $250 product package, but they were also so completely generous and sent an extra 2 quarts of Master Clear polyurethane topcoat in gloss & semi-gloss. How cool is that?  Thank you, Modern Masters!

However, the only problem I have now is figuring what to paint first in my stash.  See what I've created with my paint in these posts. As cool as these paints are and with all the gorgeous colors to choose from, including the topcoats, they carry a product that is on my must-try list...Metal Effects Reactive paint.

You can take anything and paint it with their specially formulated paint, and make it look like aged metal with a patina and all!  Their secret is the activator.  It literally takes the metal in the paint and ages it right before your eyes! I can't wait to give it a try.
Finally, I have awesome paints and colors. Spring can begin and inspire me all the more. Thank you again, Modern Masters Paint!
