Mmm...I feel like doing a little junk stash lovin' today. Do you ever get the itch to create? It sparks exciting times, I tell ya. Especially when it includes junk. aaaahhh yeah. When I found these metal trays all rusty and what not at the thrift store for a quarter, I had to have them. I believe they used to be candle trays, but that didn't matter to me. I would find them a new purpose. Check out how I turned these cast-offs into some repurposed candle sconces.

Initially, to get to my idea to come to fruition, I kept turning them over and those fingers holes looked like the perfect size for candles. With that in mind, I need to figure out how to turn them into one is the next step. I instantly saw this rusty metal being the perfect marriage to some barn wood scraps. And what better to create the union than a pair of rusty metal drawer knobs from
my antique farm desk makeover? Nothing, I tell ya. tsk.

Then, it's time to get funkified junky with my bad self and whip out my favorite drill and get to work. I'm on a roll...hahaha... This was one of those ideas that when it hit me I had to make it NOW. I love what I do.
THE REVEAL
Finally, all I had to do was add some hangers to the back, insert the candles and viola!

What is more, as tempted as I was to keep these repurposed candle sconces, I actually created them for
my online store.

Good thing they sold lightning fast because I would have kept them. However, there is always something new being added and the best way to get updates is to become a follower.

Time to get back to my stash and have some more fun! Please tell me I'm not alone, k?
Additionally, do pin and share to show me some love, and more importantly, inspire others to think funky too. ;-)

Next week is
