(sorry for the awful picture, but it had to be a quickie when I had a minute - that's what happens when you have 5 children, a cat and a dog running around...ahem) |

Great job! Mid-century has certainly made a come-back. Makes me wish I had kept my parents bedroom set! We sold the whole thing when we sold the estate. Sad:(

Hi Larissa. Nice job on the piece. Came out very nice. If you don't mind, I just have to give you some info on the other mid-century modern piece that you have pictured above it. (art deco was from the 30-40's) This piece is from the early 60's. It was from the "Brasilia" line made by Broyhill. It was made of walnut (not oak). They are in such high demand out here now! That dresser fetches an average price of $1000-1500! Google it! I'm sure you got a killer deal on it. If you ever find another one, you'll be prepared!! Sorry, don't mean to sound snooty, I just thought you'd like to know. I work on those mid century pieces quite often. It took me months to find a Brasilia that was a reasonable price. Just for giggles, look at LA Craigslist and type in Brasilia. You'll see.

Gorgeous makeover! You were so lucky to find the Broyhill Brasilia cabinet - they are in high demand these days.

very cool! Would never have thought of that finish! I'm curious, how do you ship furniture when you sell on Etsy?

that is truly a unique piece, I've never seen anything like that. I looove the way you painted that, too.

I love that you left the wood on the fronts. The white makes it fresh and pretty, too! I'd love for you to share some of your projects on my link party. The very first one is on Friday, Jan 31st at FlyingC-DIY.com. Hope to see you there!
