At this time of year there is much focus on the giving of gifts. It's a wonderful, fuzzy feeling you get when you see someone you care about opens a gift you put time or thought into. However, I honestly, wish people would be in this mindset all year through, don't you? Just think of what a better world it would be if we did. Today, we're having a Christmas Finding Home celebration to keep that spirit alive.

If you're new to what our
Finding Home program is all about, let me sum it up for you:
our desire is to use our gifts and talents to be able to bless someone else's life by sending them a custom finished piece of furniture. Jesus said in Acts 20:35, "It is more blessed to give than to receive". Don't you love the way a person's face lights up when they get an unexpected gift? Just imagine when a freight truck pulls up to their house to deliver a pallet of goodies!

This isn't our first time in being able to have this program in action. We've been able to share 6 different pieces of custom furniture to 5 different deserving groups. Amazing! For instance, you can read about our first chapters in these posts:
- Program Launch
- Episode 1
- Episode 2
- More fun in Episode 3
To say we are excited to be able to do this again is an understatement. We are honestly never rolling in cash and have to make ends meet like most folk. However, we also never lack because God always provides. I could fill a whole blog on the ways He was worked in my life alone.
Please enjoy this video I created to explain what we're gifting to a deserving soul today.

SHARING
So, with that in mind, I excitedly announce one person or family will be selected to receive this recent build of mine. I am offering my French Provincial Headboard Bench with Tufted French Mattress. You can read all about this build
HERE.

Please prayerfully consider nominating someone who has been dealing with dire circumstances (physically or financially), or has served our country, or is a do-gooder that could use a lift. Likewise, our family will also be prayerfully considering all nominations. Close date for the nominations is December 16th, 12 noon EST. (CLOSED) Open only to continental U.S. residents as this time.

We will be contacting the chosen recipient's nominee and hope to keep this a grand surprise (if possible). Our goal is have the gift shipped by Monday to make it to its new home by Christmas. In any event, it will be GRAND!
UPDATE:
To our disappointment, not one nominee was submitted, so we decided as a family to send it to someone who we found out had been saving to purchase the bench. We accepted what she had saved and are delighted because she has been such a blessing to us and know how much she appreciates my work.
We still have our Finding Home program submissions available because we are hoping to bless someone in need. See submission form above for details.
Share and, likewise, pin this Christmas Finding Home episode to get the word out. There are so many who could use encouragement to do something similar. It's all about giving.

To wrap up this Christmas Finding Home program launch, we celebrate the best gift man has ever known, the glorious birth of Christ. May love and peace fill your heart. Merry Christmas!
