Thank you for taking the time to find out more about the blog and my purpose. I am Larissa, owner of Prodigal Pieces - my entrepreneurial beginning. My life has many facets, homeschooling mother to 6 glorious children, homemaker, avid real food advocate, gardener, crafter in all its forms (crochet, sewing, needlepoint, painting, woodworking...you name it!), and wife to my wonderful high-school sweetheart, who is my behind-the-scenes partner in this business.

In my past, I have earned a college degree majoring in Interpersonal & Organizational Communication with a minor in Business Administration. During my collegiate career, I have had photography, Bible, and various other courses which have brought me to where I am today. I even had the opportunity to work on the college paint crew. (you can learn oodles by hands-on applications!)
As a child, I grew up in a family of 6 and one of my quirks was to rearrange my mother's house at a whim. She would come home to find the furniture in a totally different arrangement or would hear my furniture scooting across the floor in my bedroom at which she would call out, "What are you doing up there?" Or I would be secretly raiding my dads wood stash and tools to create toys.
Although I enjoy my business, my family comes first. The business is the "icing on the cake" for me. Fun, profitable, and, hopefully, a blessing to those I come in contact with.
I would love to hear from you! You can message me at larissa@prodigalpieces.com.
