Trashure is my word for treasure found in the trash (aka. one man's trash is another woman's treasure). What could be better than this kind of trashure find - a Mid Century Modern credenza sitting in the trash?! wow.
The was definitely rough and not only had wear, but chemical stains as well. I decided to turn it into an entertainment console and give it a fresh new look.
After making the necessary repairs, I set up my Spray Shelter in a matter of minutes.
In no time I am able to apply a coat on of primer followed by several coats of paint once each layer cured. I didn't even have to worry about debris getting into my finish.
Here's the new look and function for this once credenza turned entertainment console. It is a true cast-off trashure find.
